Maybe his history of being arrested by police at other political events played a part in heightened tensions here. Not saying being an intolerable asshole warrants automatic arrest.

This is straight up media intimidation, and the way that aide got out of the way so the cop could do his this thing leads to thoughts of co-ordination. If he was any real threat they wouldn’t have hung out 50 feet away waiting, they’re apparently her security detail.

Had a microphone and a cameraman, asking questions, in a public space, of a politician. Sounds like reporter to me, not harassment. What the cop did is though. But why should you care? So there is a thing you can do, publish some non biased articles, then start publishing more and more radical stuff and try to use the neutral as a buffer.
