no but seriously, I’m not sure if I agree with this. I really enjoyed seeing a post on either /r/vexillology or /r/vcj and then its corresponding post on the other one, especially if it was on /r/vcj first and then trying to figure out where tf it came from. And similar idea with /r/mapporncirclejerk and /r/geography. I think it would be a very different place if it were an entire instance dedicated to memes, and they’d lose their own identity to a large extent (not that they’re not all invaded by /r/anarchychess already).
