I knew it was a good idea to hold off telling my parents I am never coming back to that shithole of a state ever again. Now I can just point at this and say I dont like spending time being locked up for needing to take a piss.

I, John Brown, am now quite certain that the crimes of this guilty land will never be purged away but with blood. I had, as I now think, vainly flattered myself that without very much blood shed it might be done. JB-shining-aggro

Records stored in Granite Mountain Records Vault include genealogical and family history information contained in over 2.4 million rolls of microfilm and one million microfiches. This equals about three billion pages of family history records. About 40,000 new microfilm rolls are added to the vault each year.

that seems like a lot of microfilm. my genuine guess? There’s probably a wide variety of physics, medicine, and equipment texbooks alongside all the geneology stuff. There’s a pretty strong survivalist undercurrent in Mormonism, and it hinges on the church being the only institution to to survive insert any given collapse narrative here. Having a library of useful microfilm under a mountain seems like the sort of generic capital-p Prepared that would appeal to members and Church leadership.

My joke guess? After failing to find archeological evidence of iron tools and horses in the pre-collonial Americas, the church launches a secret intuitive to manufacture their own proof…

It seems as if the state legislatures are feeling really emboldened to be evil lately. No real analysis to add, but that’s the vibe at least.

They love to bait the libs around this time by making the sitting republican governor veto a bill or two like these. Its to make them like him as a reach across the aisle type of guy. Fun fact I was doing therapy at the LGBTQ center in SLC when the asshole showed up there for like a tour with like media and stuff. Someone asked me if I wanted to see him and I am like naw why would I want to see that nobody. I use to love going down to that building for my sessions because I would take the front-runner train then the light rail. I was approved to work out of a downtown coffee joint of my choice for the day so I did not have to take it off. I am a remote employee so they did not care where I was as long as I told em. The cafe was a mix of record shop and comic book store and I miss it a fuckton. I hate what these bastards took from me but I can always try to find it somewhere else.

    amerikkka.

Why are the only states that aren’t actively trying to murder you also the luxury states? As stupid it sounds, it really does feel like the capitalists are more reachable than the American proletariat sometimes.

liberal human rights BS mixed with “some of our children/family/neighbors are trans”. it only goes so far. they’re not for genuine gender abolition and they won’t do shit for the massive trans homeless population. but, for the moment, they aren’t trying to kill us either, at least in the blue states. never forget, though, that the red states are also run by capitalists and they’re definitely trying to kill us there.
