Just curious but are disagreements over veganism at the heart of the split?

Probably also disagreement of other core values, if one cannot give up their meat and dairy for a partner.
I mean, if my partner does not respect my value there, how could they respect them anywhere else
Seeing as how its all vegans talk about id imagine yes.
I mean, I would do the same on the spot if their response to me being upset about their support of systematic torture and slaughter of baby animals is “mmm veal burger”. It also has more to do with being able to see things from your partner’s perspective. If they don’t get veganism, they probably don’t get other basic things.
