Nope. We have a team dedicated to working on the Roku client. They’re constantly working on not only bug fixes, but also improvements and new functionality.

What settings are you using under Playback -> Transcoding?
I also simply watch in my browser when on desktop.
If it needs to transcode, then it transcodes. I don’t see the need to put extra effort in trying to avoid it.
I believe you and I define the word fortunate differently.
