I would be surprised if the hospital wasn’t able to change these settings. I know they can in our system.

Based on the winners… yes.
Uhh, this is Lemmy.
You know, I thought all but one became unusable but after just trying to figure out which app it was I discovered a lot of third party apps apparently became usable again at some point, including the one I used to use Sync.
I know for a fact that Sync stopped working because for a long time you’d open it and it’d just say it didn’t work and he was working on making it work with Lemmy. Which is what I’m using now. I guess he made Sync for Reddit at some point after that.
Might be a moot point now, but it was not the only reason I haven’t gone back. The leadership has proven they don’t care about the users all that much. They are much more focused on money.

Of course he would. He’s made bank since becoming president.

The “article” is literally one sentence and they still managed to make a confusing title.
EDIT: Actually, it may be behind a paywall that just took forever to load.

Are we back to eggs are bad for us? I’ll just keeping eating them. They’ll eventually be good for me again.

Weird, pretty sure that’s how it works in Georgia. Though, I can’t recall if it was a county tax or a state tax. But I’ve definitely voted on property taxes before.

I may have said evidence, but it’s not really evidence at this point.

I would like to see that argued in court because there is no criminal investigation happening here. It’s basically a fishing expedition. What would they do if you didn’t even bring your phone, charge you? Force you to go back and get it? And if you don’t even have a phone? If they would just let you go if you didn’t have your phone, what is the difference between that and wiping your data?
This is somewhat equivalent to throwing your baggie of drugs out the car window when the cop comes up to your car window when they pulled you over for speeding. You might get a fine for littering. You might still get arrested for the drugs if they find them. But if they can’t, you aren’t being arrested for obstruction of justice.

Even if there was incriminating evidence on the phone, I doubt it’s against the law to delete it. Literally the 5th amendment. And it’s not like there was a court order telling him he had to keep his data.

The man literally does not think before he speaks. Why would someone want to stay in a country as bad as described? Seems like pretty good reasons to me.
I’m don’t agree with his description of these countries, but if that’s what he truly believes… that’s why you would leave.
Likewise, why would you move if your country was on post or better? Just cause? Nah, almost no one does that.

Same reason anything has watermarks. To prevent people from stealing their shit with no credit.

Should I feel bad? Instacart is already a premium over doing things yourself. It’s like getting mad that your chauffer costs more.

Can’t be any worse than the bullshit I already make up.
I’m nearly 40 and still do stuff like this.
I thought the same thing, but I saw one just a few months ago. It made me wonder the last one I saw. Had to be years and years ago.
