I recently discovered what this is on my handheld and there are come really fun games. I’ve been playing Celeste Classic today and another that was an Outrun-esque that I forget the name of.

It’s not at all like the examples you give but it is such a good game that I think fits nicely here.

I’ve actually not skipped many battles so lvl wise it’s all good. I remember playing on the Dreamcast originally and when a battle was about to trigger the console would make a noise so I would pause the game to try an skip it.

I went in with zero information and it was certainly not what I assumed. It started well but seemed to decline at about 2/3rds in and by the end I wasn’t really bothered by what’s happening.

Absolutely awful. By halfway through it was just background noise and would have been much more fun if he had taken the Baja drive instead of F1.

This just unlocked a memory of a couple with a van full of VHS tapes driving round the neighborhood renting them out to everyone. 100% fakes but a 10 year old me was mesmerized.

Yeah I don’t know what’s up with him this year. I assumed it was Marc joining the team that knocked him back a bit (since he was by far the no.1 over Bastianini) but every weekend now is just a complete no-show compared to Marc :(
