Today was probably my first auto pilot shave where I just did it and did not think about it.

Shave was okay. Not great, but not horrible. Hardest part of this challenge so far is just writing up a proper SOTD with picture everyday.
If I can maintain these satisfactory shaves for the rest of the month, I will be a happy camper. Everything is going well right now. $Rawhoggin $monthofmikes $headless
Another dAAy, another decent shave. No blood loss, no complaints about the Weck as of right now. u/EldrormR said that after a few shaves the Fromm blades get buttery smooth and I think I finally hitting that sweet. My growth is sparse so it makes sense that it would take a few more days. The brush is eating lather like the hungry hog it is. Happy Friday.
Repeat of yesterday. Weck is feeling good, brush is softening up, and vetiver smelling great. Glad things are looking up, but I don’t wanna get too comfy and slip up.
I won’t question it. Hopefully shaves stay steady for awhile.
I hope today signifies a turning point for me. I am not sure what changed, but the Weck and Fromm blade felt so good. I had hardly any feedback from the splash and the brush is feeling absolutely fantastic now. All I can say for today is hell yeah.

I did try one briefly, but that’s not the first time I’ve heard that. Eventually I might fall down the straight rabbit hole
Still taking it nice and easy with the Weck. I think the blade feels slightly better, but I wouldn’t call it smooth yet. This is my first day with no blood and a comfy 2 pass shave is all I can ask for. $Rawhoggin $headless $monthofmikes
I am sort of surprised that this time breaking in a brand new boar brush that it is not eating lather or stinking all that much. It is soft, but also can tell there is some upside down hairs scattered which tends to be expected with Omega made boar brushes. Weck felt okay today again. I am not getting the closest shaves, but they are at least comfortable and acceptable for that. Still experimenting with what type of lather consistency works best for me. One tiny little weeper, but getting just a little better each day.

Today the Weck shave went much better. I was less tense and held the blade more flat to my face and it was relatively comfortable all things considered. Also trying the 322 as pre shave. Brush even felt noticeably better as well. $Rawhoggin $monthofmikes $headless

And we are off! I have been waiting since mid June it seems like for AA. Tagging u/EldrormR for Raw Hoggin and here is an unboxing video of my brush. The brush felt really good out of the box and reminiscent of the pass around brush u/KerblimeySkal sent around last month, which directly prompted me to get this brush for AA.
Also tagging u/whosgotthepudding for Headless Horsemen. This was a last minute decision and I am totally unsure how this month will play out. Today’s shave went okay. Two passes on the mustache area and two with some clean up on the chin and stragglers on my neck. My face felt pretty damn raw after this shave and the splash burnt like hell. I will keep trekking on because I know I can get good shaves with this razor/blade combo because I have before, just gotta shake off the rust. My picture last night showed Sunset and not 322, but 322 is the splash I will be using for the duration of the month, staying in line with HH rules.

No I have a stick and a tub. I used my stick once, but will be using the tub for the first time and the duration of AA.
