PJ complained to Rimu, so Rimu instance banned me from PieFed.social, and it seems Feddit.org and Lemmy.Blahaj.zone followed suit. Started from this, where I responded to some of PJ’s nonsense, then PJ made a string of MwoG posts about me. Really not worth anyone’s time to look into, but for those who want context here it is.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Why aren't Chinese people afraid of US companies collecting their data?
281·vor 13 StundenChina has sovereignty over their internet infrastructure, that’s what the Great Firewall is for. The US Empire cannot do as it likes with China.
I’d say actual socialist orgs like PSL count far more as opposition. Bernie and AOC depend too heavily on the existing establishment, and thus are powerless against it, while PSL is steadily building a full alternative.
Thanks! I don’t think OP can see my comment to begin with, so that helps with visibility. Great expansion too!
Yep, Lemmy.ml isn’t actually something that can be categorized as “cleanly ML.”

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Why some people call it Natopedia the imperialist enciclopedia?
2·vor 17 StundenEchoing Erika3sis’s great comment, Wikipedia represents the western viewpoint and consensus, not a global consensus and viewpoint, which leads it to being shaped by the institutions that have sway in the west.
To be fair, Lemmy.ml just has lots of MLs, Lemmygrad.ml is the actual ML instance. Also to be fair, many instances do have strong political views as a part of their identity.
PSL is trying to build that opposition party as we speak.
Everything is political, and Lemmy was made as an alternative to Reddit based on ideological reasoning in favor of FOSS and federation. Lemmy was made by communists, and there are a ton of us communists here as a consequence.
Hello! One thing you should know is that PieFed.social is run by an anti-communist, pretty sure I am instance-banned from there so I doubt you can see this. In case you can, I suggest making an account on an instance like Lemmy.ml, Hexbear.net, or Lemmygrad.ml, or even a generalist instance like Lemmings.org.
Personally, I’m doing alright!

4·vor 1 TagOnly the beginning, before we can abolish class distinctions and fully collectivize production and distribution globally.

5·vor 1 TagTerm limits also limit positive change. They are meant to prevent change in general.
MZT - Mao’s application of Marxism-Leninism to China’s conditions as contemporary to his era
Maoism - MZT but universal, plus some other stuff from Gonzalo and Sison.
Maoists believe the CPC is “revisionist,” usually rejecting most modern AES states.

7·vor 1 TagTo be clear, socialism retains administration and organization, it just gradually abolishes class divisions.
They are. Mao was a Marxist-Leninist, and Marxist-Leninists support Mao (for most things, at least, same as Stalin, Castro, Ho Chi Minh, etc.). “Maoism,” however, is a branch of Marxism that diverges from Marxism-Leninism, as Maoists believe Mao took Marxism to a new, higher universal level. I disagree with this idea, as do many people on Lemmy.
In short, Mao was a fantastic Marxist-Leninist, but some view him as more than that and as having created new universal strategies and analysis, and these people are Marxist-Leninist-Maoists, rather than Marxism-Leninism Mao Zedong Thought. The CPC follows Marxism-Leninism Xi Jinping Thought, which carries forward Mao Zedong Thought but rejects “Maoism,” as an example.
Yep, there’s a lot of good stuff in Mao!

361·vor 2 TagenNationalize the large firms and key industries, end all embargoes and sanctions on other countries, redistribute land from the landlords and private firms, end all overseas millitary bases, end all wars and pull out of NATO. Begin building mass rail, solar, and nuclear by engaging with strategic partnerships with China. Land back and decolonization of Turtle Island. Building up the productive forces via central planning and strong state funding, while gradually appropriating medium firms as they grow and monopolize.
Dismantling settler-colonialism and imperialism are the primary tasks of building socialism on Turtle Island.
Production and distribution will be run according to a common, scientific plan. Worker’s councils will be set up, alongside youth leagues. Social programs like free healthcare and education will be established, and a reduction to the 30 hour work week in the long-run. Full-employment will be achieved via mass infrastructure projects. The country will be connected and integrated with the city, suburbs will gradually be pivoted away from in favor of mixed-use, walkable city planning.
Full protections for LGBTQIA+ individuals and abortion protections. Religion will be purged from the state in all aspects, while being protected as an individual choice. Prison reform will be established, focusing on rehabilitation and ending the profit motive from incarceration. Police budgets will be slashed. National parks will recieve greater land and funding for protections, as will scientific advancement in medicine and more.
This seems like a lot, but it all stems from nationalizing the large firms and key industries, as well as redistribution of land, land back, and decolonization. As imperialism decays, the economic compulsion for self-reliance grows, meaning if the working classes can establish a socialist state then we can achieve the rest gradually.
If those ideas sound good to you, and you haven’t yet engaged with Marxist-Leninist theory, I made a basic study guide! Feel free to check it out!

Bernie and AOC have not succeeded in meaningfully changing the system, though, so there’s no evidence that this is a “more powerful place.” Bernie and AOC are more establishment friendly and thus have people among the establishment platforming them, which defangs their allowed progressivism in order to keep them in the public eye. PSL actually stands to bring real change.
