I’m sure there’s some particular joy in doing this to your own house, but the city should hire this guy to do a big display in the city centre. Probably more adequate parking, people maybe make a night of it and go to local restaurants, you could pick your place to minimise upsetting neighbours.

When I used to do bonus points, they would be awarded as a percentage of the marks you didn’t earn on the rest of the assessment.
Eg, you earn 80 out of 100 marks on the main questions, you could earn 10% of the remaining 20 marks from a bonus question.
I liked it as a system as it disproportionately rewarded worse performing students who maybe had trouble with the main material but could offer some insights on the more conceptual bonus questions.

Marital finance should be settled science at this point. Joint account, both put the same amount or (preferably) same income percentage in the account per month for joint/family expenses, both have own accounts for everything else.
