    1. Structural components are cheap, building a multi-story factory is easy to do, that’s what I usually do.

    2. If you’re building on foundations/floor you can rotate things by consistent degrees, and you can set up paths using the conveyor mount pieces to prep.

There is a conveyor piece that has ladders on the side which can be stacked vertically on top of itself, allowing you to run multiple conveyors vertically on the same path.

But spaghetti is also fine, especially for your first factories. I usually end up making a factory-making-factory so I can have limitless building components.

    1. You can only stack them on different floors, which is why I do that. Typically I’ll have the bottom floors be raw material/basic goods, and feed them up onto higher floors where more complex things are being produced.

  • Yeah the death of public social spaces is a huge bummer. I was lucky that my spouse and I both radicalized at the same time, no idea how I would even try to find a partner in the current environment.

I have a coworker who managed to have some success in the dating app economy but he ended up broadening his net to include a major city nearly 3 hours away. Not sure how far you’re willing to drive to see people.

  • I think channels like Hakim and Halim Alrah are efforts to bridge the watch videos-> read theory gap. And I think they work but they get a lot less engagement than “breadtube” does.

Although I’m also learning that maybe I’m a weird outlier who should not be using my experiences to figure out effective steps, I was raised conservative and moved towards liberalism through the Obama years, but then abruptly moved to “Bernie is the compromise” and then into full blown communism in very rapid succession, mostly because Shaun videos did a better job addressing the things I was noticing and uncomfortable with than anybody else was.

And I’m just a kkkraker from a comfortable conservative background with a pretty high degree of education. My life has gotten more shitty since I radicalized, not the other way around. I’m getting the impression this must be very uncommon, although it’s the story of the lefties in my life. Probably just because of the community I was in I guess.
