Sometimes, but only really for characters / locations, and more at the beginning than the end.
I’m in stormlight 5 myself just now, and I stopped doing notes after book 3 I think? Similar for The Expanse, a couple years ago.

China Miéville in general, suggest start with “Perdido Street Station”

Chicken fucker.
That’s nobody’s business but the Turks.

Specifically, “J” is a smiley face in Wingdings font.

Hell, I’ll trick or treat butt for free.
I could no longer open Instagram without encountering dozens of large-breasted women skipping rope, romping in tank tops, brushing their teeth while drooling erotically. It was the same story on TikTok, the little of it I watched.
This confession kills me every time. My Instagram is entirely tattoo designs because that’s all I interact with, and TikTok is similarly reflective.

counterpoint, RTFM 🤷

“He lied like hell,” Trump told Newsmax, adding: “But he was 100% for Trump.”

Ackchtually… :-)
The first movie is the first HALF of the original book, and the second movie is the second half.
They sliced an (awesome) ending into the middle of the book, and the vibes of the second movie were different, but it was authentic to the book.
Now as for the THIRD movie, your point is legit. (Also fun to note, it has Jack Black as a street punk.)

That sucks.
For me, sertraline helped me finally wake up and feel like myself again. (Plus buspirone for the sexual side effects and jaw clenching… which I guess could also be a sexual side effect if it happens at the wrong time.)

The point isn’t the consent, it’s the tattling.

As someone who loves linguistics, you’re just saying that it starts good and then continues good. :-D

Rosencrantz: [holds up a feather and a wooden ball] Look at this. You would think this would fall faster than this.
[drops them. ball hits the ground first]
…and you would be absolutely right.

My 6th grader is sometimes correct too, but I’d still rather ask real sources than take her word for everything.
… plant a landlord?

The closest I’ve got is Neal Stephenson, specifically his System of the World trilogy vs the standalone Cryptonomicon, both set in the same larger context, and even with a character that shows up in both.
I loved the standalone, but I’ve tried and failed multiple times to even make it through the first of the trilogy.

legit. I’ve got a threshold too, for sure. it’s just not zero. :-P
