  • This is a weird one to me. Petro isn’t a radical leftist, he seems committed to peace and bridging the gap between the separatist guerilla factions and the national government.

    Could this be one of the guerilla factions trying to kill the Uribe legacy before they take power again?

    Furthermore, the only angle I can see is this guy trying to return to a more right wing liberal order and the guerillas are not going for it. Or this kid just wanted to be famous, idk.










  • I was speaking strictly to ideological politics, removed from electoral politics. The American democratic party is largely ideologically neo-liberal, which in my previous comment I mentioned to be right of center.

    It’s my opinion that elected/prospective representatives are going to obfuscate their true ideology (if they hold one) if it serves their interests. This often betrays the trust in their constituents, leading them to believe the party is left wing.
