IMO the OP builds are the super fun ones to play.
I spent a half a day farming up two Magma Blades and I’m just cruising through it. No thoughts, head empty, just DPSing down bosses before I even need to dodge.

9·5 days agoI was playing the new Elden Ring stuff but think I might hold off until it (hopefully) gets some performance patches. I keep getting stuttering and frame drops which seems odd considering the base game never gave me any issues whatsoever.
Until then I think I’m gonna learn more Dwarf Fortress.

The actual volunteers and activists continually developing software that respects your freedom are doing the actual heroic shit here.
Yes FOSS is good and should be supported, but claming someone who is pirating a copy of Adobe is perpetuating abuse is batshit. Supporting an open source project requires specific knowledge and/or money, pirating Adobe and using a wholly separate skillset to pay your bills is morally neutral at worst. Personally I would argue, it’s good actually.
“I can’t support this FOSS project because I’m broke and don’t know how the fuck to code, and I also I can’t use this stolen copy of Adobe because someone might find out, guess I’ll starve” doesn’t make any sense.
Saying “I am literally both sidesing this topic because Zionists who give me money will be mad at me if I gave my actual opinion” is kind of hilarious.
It probably works too because Zionist Ludwig fans are too stupid to just read between the lines.
Also I’m like 100% certain if Ludwig told Slime he was a Zionist he’d get a knife in throat.

The whole tone for these games is off for me. The original was a bit somber and felt a bit more righteous, these come off as like the disney amusement park version of FF7 to me. idk just not for me i guess
If anyone follows the ios instructions and has issues with permissions, I tried the 0.8.2 release and it worked for me.

Trump actually goes to jail and runs from prison -> Libs stupidly do everything in their power to make running from prison impossible, implausible, or illegal -> Republicans finally elect a competent fascist -> Fascist uses precedent set of throwing former presidents (or anyone) in jail to imprison opponents -> Liberals:
people actively try to work on creating a space that isn’t reactionary as shit
trans people feel comfortable using it

8·28 days agoIt would be very funny if they protest him running from prison, libs jumping at the chance to protest and be wrong at the same time.
It would be kind of a tragedy if they use Trump running from prison as a way to change the law for the worse.
I’m really having a good time but I have two criticisms.
Game performance is subpar, the base game gave my machine no issues but the DLC stutters and drops frames.
Also, I wish the DLC wasn’t locked behind Mohg. By the time you are fighting Mohg you pretty much have finished or are finishing your build. Once you hit 150 your stats are soft capped and get hit with heavy diminishing returns anyway. Progression really just becomes finding Scadutree fragments. In the base game if you hit a wall you could just go somewhere else, and look for some sacred tears, golden seeds, talismans, weapons, smithing fragments, runes, anything. You can do that to some extent in the DLC, but the thing that really matters is tree fragments and it feels kinda disappointing.
