  • I par cooked some angel hair pasta, like 4 minutes, drained it, tossed it with a bit of oil to keep it from sticking, then I pulverized the shit out of some peanuts in a food processor, fried those in some oil with garlic and gochujang and tomato paste for like 30 seconds, added some thai garlic chili sauce, threw in maybe 1/3rd of a cup of pasta water w/ the starch in it, added a SMALL bit of ponzu and sesame oil, then threw the pasta in and cooked it ~2 minutes or until the liquid was absorbed/reduced

by god it was good, I wish you could taste what I’m tasting. I made it the perfect amount of white people spicy. I feel the heat permeate my mouth but it isn’t overwhelming, I tasted it while eating it but I could taste all the other flavors too, so good

  • The Faraway Paladin is so good

    spoiler

Faraway paladin is so cool, they’re sneaking into this dwarven mountain that fell to demons 150 years ago to kill an evil dragon with the power of a god before it heals completely, awakens and kills thousands of people.

And they hear clanking metal and footsteps beyond a door and think it’s demons and bust in only to find dwarves. Undead dwarves. The last garrison who still believes the Iron Country hasn’t fallen. They’re friendly and literally know one of the mc’s party. But then the last scion of the dwarven king gives them a tearful speech about how their efforts were in vain, not to avert their eyes from the truth, and how his grandfather struck back at the dragon and took one of if eyes “in an act of heroism celebrated by the gods themselves” and it’s just so cool, so GAR

And he pledges his life to slay the dragon, swearing on all the virtuous gods and ancestral spirits to bring back the Iron country

‘The kiln fires have not gone out! Their flames will spread, burning off all the rust and the Rust Mountains will be the Iron Mountains once again’

And then he asks the undead to rest and end their long watch

    Im not crying
