Housing becomes more than a commodity under capitalism. It’s your retreat from the workplace, from exploitation, from capitalism. It’s a coping mechanism based on intentional ignorance. Having poor people, living embodyment’s of Capitalism’s failures, shatters that reality.
At this point, Trotskyist is basically a term for Marxists who don’t like the USSR and the other governments it inspired.
Trotskyism is often seen as a slippery slope to other, crazier ideas. Posadism is an offshoot of Trotskyism. Some Trotskyists believed revolution would be easier under Imperialism than Stalinism, and became neocons. However, these vary from one of Trotsky’s greatest personal beliefs: that the deformed workers state is preferable to a bourgois state. Thus, most manifestations of Trotskyism no longer have any attachments to Trotsky as a theorist.
As a historical figure, he’s become a rallying point for those who support socialism, but are not comfortable with what they’ve heard about Stalin and other Marxist regeimes. Supporters of those governments see Trotskyists as ideologically compromised by Imperialist propaganda and justify their extreme hatred of Trots with the historical examples of those who turned against socialism.

I’m not going to get into the murder itself. It’s obvious who’s innocent and who’s guilty, and I’d say they handled it well. The teacher did well, the pigs killed the bad guy, and then the French just. Kept. Going.
The guilty party is dead. They’re not going to see this. These cartoon projections will only be seen by innocent people, Muslim and non-Muslim alike. So what’s going on? They’re insulting a whole religion in response to an act of terror. If any Chud did this, we’d rightfully call it out as an act of racism, or at least old Chapo would. Instead, the government is doing it. They’re going out of their way to violate the practices and sensibilities of a minority they’ve been persecuting for centuries and which continues to suffer violent hate crimes to this day.
White suburbanites expect their home’s value to increase indefinately. It’s an “investment.” Even though it doesn’t fit out conventional understanding of capital, it functions similarly. They come to believe it’s their right to derive money from their ownership of property, and will fight as hard as they can to ensure both the value and their ownership of the property.
