Old School Runescape, but good guess 😂
Pickpocketing the same person 100,000 times.
Can’t leave out that Trump not only was friends with McMahon, but went so far as to put his wife in his cabinet.
Yeah it’s true. The game originated in Sweden, and we have a lot of Swedish immigrants in Minnesota. It was originally called anka anka gråttanka, which translates to duck duck grey duck. Or that’s the story we tell here at least.
On the tail end of Leagues right now. I didn’t have much time early on in leagues so I’m just scraping out rune rank and won’t be able to make it to dragon, which is disappointing. Then it’s back to maxing the normal account and working through early game iron stuff, after a short post-leagues break I’m thinking.
There are some gems for food in the St. Cloud area. I moved away from the area about three years ago into the Twin Cities, so can’t speak to more recent additions, but White Horse downtown was always good food if you could put up with unnecessarily slow service. Olde Brick House downtown also good. Old Capital Tavern in Sauk Rapids is solid. Krewe in St. Joseph is probably my favorite restaurant in the area though, and make sure you stop at Jupiter Moon Ice Cream afterwards.
Overall Minnesota is a great place to live. Don’t hesitate to get into the twin cities and suburbs as much as you can - you will have way more high end food options, way more activities for the kids, and way more opportunities for your own socialization. Don’t fall into the St. Cloud mentality of the Twin Cities being 45-60 minutes away meaning you can’t take advantage if it.
Spend some time farther up north when you have time for weekend trips. Rent a cabin up in Bemidji, take the kids to Duluth, get into whatever kind of outdoor winter sports you can put up with. Take the kids tubing at Powder Ridge this winter.
Welcome!
Well, in between the prior two threads I took my total level from 2080 to 2090, which felt slow. So I buckled down and skilled for the last month, and got to 2125. Got 91 thieving for desert elites, 99 crafting, and a couple cox kc with friends to knock out kourend elites. Only diary tasks left are Runecraft to 91 (or 89, or 86 depending on how sick of it I get - currently only 81), and BA level 5’s. Pretty solid progress for a month though! Trying to focus on 99 slayer mostly right now to take a break from skilling, sitting about 300k from 97 currently.
I’m about 75% done with The Bonfire of the Vanities by Tom Wolfe, and about 50% done with Anxious People by Fredrick Backman. I’m enjoying both more than I thought I would.
+1 for Snarky Puppy. Saw them live a few months back and they’re incredible. Somehow they still had the audience singing along, even without lyrics.
Polyphia is great as was already suggested. If you want to go heavier, try Animals as Leaders. If you want to go jazzier, try Snarky Puppy.
Well, I went from 2080 total last thread to 2090 now, which isn’t a great pace if I’m trying to max. Have done more miscellaneous clog stuff and a clan bingo lately, so not skilling as much. But hey at least I never have to get another Merfolk Trident now. Still working towards finishing up elite diaries and I think elite combat achievements are making their way onto my radar of something I want to accomplish. So gonna have to start being decent at the game, at some point here.
I hunted for green green as first two to get my diary kill I believe. It took a couple tries to get that rotation, but shouldn’t take too long. Good luck!
This looks really promising. Love the theming and overall design, can’t wait to see more. And can’t wait to see what people find to complain about.
An OSRS forum was the thing I was missing most from reddit. Glad I stumbled on this one. Looking forward to chatting with you guys.
Currently sitting at 2080 TL, working on elite diary requirements. Need Thieving (currently 82), runecraft (currently 80), BA (currently avoiding), and a Cox kc (currently just bad at the game). Getting closer.
Halo 3, any of the older guitar hero or rock band games. Or OSRS.
A Head Full of Ghosts by Paul Tremblay, Things Have Gotten Worse Since We Last Spoke by Eric LaRocca, The Troop by Nick Cutter.
It’s pretty good for dipping pizza and sweet potato fries in, but better with good house-made ranch and not hidden valley.
Psychedelic assisted psychotherapy changed my life. It’s not for everyone, but holy shit when it works it works.
