Most of what you know from 40K still applies. It’s just narrower in scope, as it’s restricted to just the one planet.

Also, “Fighter” is a bit of a misnomer, as there aren’t “classes” in WFRP, per se. Like there are a bunch of different careers that fall under the “Fighter” archetype, and even if you don’t pick one of them, you can still spec your character to be good at fighting. Chaos warrior is a career, but it’s not designed as one you can take from the off. The good news is that the adventure we’re playing does give you the option to take that career at some point.

That’s okay I’m the only one in the group who does. I’ve been holding their hands through lore stuff and I’ll gladly hold yours too.

From a DM perspective: Sure.

However, I think the other players may object to a character who is putting them at risk of coming face to face with the Inquisition.

Closest thing I have to compare it to is Chaosium/Call of Cthulhu and early D&D. You have a d100 that you roll against the appropriate skill or stat, with your rank in said skill or stat as the DC. If you roll lower than your stat, you succeed. Difficulty is added or subtracted from the relevant stat

Example: Your charm skill is a 30 and you’re interacting with someone who likes you, so you get a +20 to charm and so your DC is effectively 50 for that roll.

I don’t think anybody even likes Bethesda games for their genuine merits anymore. They’re fundamentally broken in ways that people find appealing for some reason.

Yeah, evil options in games are usually pretty underwhelming. It’s almost like developers put them there as a token nod to contrarians.

Ignoring all the slavery is clearly the evil option. This chud yearns to be part of the trade himself.

2: Friend of mine has a Commander deck built around voting and giving himself extra votes. He calls it “Democracy Manifest.”

3: I want to make a Commander deck with an abstract theme, and then I found out the artist behind a lot of cards in Boros colors is named Zoltan Boros. It’d ultimately be a Brion Stoutarm Fling deck, which I also want to make, but if I make Boros by Boros, I can kill 2 birds with one stone.
