This is really helpful as someone who’s been in the job market for wayyyy too long (and someone who has plenty of soft skills) What do you look for in resumes now? Specifically, what skills or verbiage?

Not quite it was less horror and moreso helping a character… it’s possible the characters were animals dressed as humans
No not quite 🫤
There’s a reason I’m on Lemmy and not on Reddit anymore 🫣
I have one of these! My memory is pretty hazy but he’s everything I remember about it: I played it in about 2003-04, pc rom game, point and click style where you were either trying to help find a series of items in a house or solve a mystery in a house? This was a kids game with a lot of shades of light blue if I remember correctly… Not a scary game, was in the first person, and I don’t remember being in a team of other characters. I remember renting it from my local library a hefty number of times.

ours is “flamingos for sale” 🦩

Absolutely, I feel like I was still smart, inquisitive, mindful and all that… but it felt like my ability to access that information and effectively communicate it out loud wasn’t very easy. I would always forget the names of things in the middle of a sentence, I’d take longer to respond to questions at work… stuff like that.

I made a comment on one sub that broke a vague rule that they deemed inappropriate… (something to the effect of making your comments tactful)
When asking about their decision and defending my comment they banned me from all the subreddits they modded.
I was a user for 14 years… Haven’t been back to Reddit since. ✌🏼

This addiction is real, and incredibly difficult to kick. I lost a decade of my life convincing myself it wasn’t that bad, basically being high whenever I was conscious and not working.
Today I’m 110 days sober and the cravings are still there, but my mental capacity has also improved dramatically.

The thing is… I like vacuuming my home when I’m away from home, and that’s a lot harder to do manually…

Kings get guillotines in our country 🇺🇸🖕🏼

Simpsons: Road Rage is my all-time favorite of any game on any console…
So much so that I bought the game without having the console to even play it 🫣

This type of conceded, complaisant attitude is why everything is as bad as it is. How about instead of being a keyboard warrior you make yourself useful? Maybe it’s people like you who don’t deserve this privilege of victim blaming for staying away from anything scary or worth fighting for. The fact you put a smiley face after the phrase “innocent woman being abused” would make anyone who is not a psychopath sick.
Canada’s Worst Driver…
And Canada’s Worst Handyman…
Honestly I’ll watch anything hosted by Andrew Younghusband at this point

Fuck this child rapist clown. Release the Epstein files!!

Oh sorry lol, I’ll just go over here and fuck myself then…

Mainly maps, but also other informative reading materials such as natural medicine, almanacs and other foraging guides.
Tesla would be my answer just to help him sue Musk for using his namesake. I’m petty like that though…
A few things to consider in the world of marketing and advertising…
When reviewing the number of views that an ad gets, there’s no simple way to separate bot traffic from genuine impressions. This is due to privacy restrictions.
Generally, the marketing team will post an ad… A few weeks go by and they report the number of impressions (views) the ad got to upper management… upper management is impressed and continues to approve budgets to make more ads.
Sometimes ads are about driving awareness and not necessarily making sales. If you’re familiar with the new soda in the convenience store you’re more likely to buy it because of the ad you saw about it last week.
A good (even great) return on investment in sales is between 2-3%, meaning if you show your ad to 100 people and get two clicks on it, those are considered good statistics to continue to market your product.
