I don’t see it being a benefit in communities in that I mod (hentai, paizuri, tentaclehentai, and hentaigif), so I’m not personally keen on it but I can see why larger communities might want it. I’m no longer as hopeful that a more active hentai-oriented community will develop here, so though I voted “No”, I’m a little apathetic about the choice now, personally.

From what I recall, some users use downvotes for more than just spam, like disliking things. This creates a problem when people browse the Local feed and downvote stuff they don’t like even if they aren’t even subbed to that community. This impacts niche communities and their posters/creators who would get more downvotes from people seeking more mainstream content even if it would otherwise fit that community.

If the goal is just to ward off spam, then unless reports aren’t enough, I’d keep downvotes off.

It’s a niche part of Resort Boin as it was a mini flash game with some voice acting. You can find it on places like H-FLASH (ad blocker recommended) and play it in-browser via the little “run by Ruffle” button. It’s old enough and simple enough that the flash emulator runs it OK.

Alternatively, if you just want other GIFs, you can check out the EH gallery for the series of flash games they released w/o voice acting.

A quick glance suggests that this artist has a reasonably extensive history of drawing dating back to 2013 according to HentaiFoundry. Their Twitter profile is sparse on WIPs but has a few as far as back as 2019, so I’m inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt and say it’s just some jank on their part.

I totally appreciate the second opinion though; glad it wasn’t just me that thought about it.

Yeah, I prefer posting with catbox over redgifs since just linking a video makes it simple and uncomplicated. No one else really posts here but maybe I’ll add quick recommendation to use catbox instead. Both work for me on Firefox for Android + Voyager though.

If it’s the art style you like, you might try looking through other pieces by this artist on boorus like Gelbooru/Danbooru. Not every single one is drawn and shaded in that style, but it beats nothing.

I’m sure there are also other artists that share some similarities, but I can’t name any off the top of my head. Let me know if you find some!

Saucenao says it was drawn by Yabuki Kentarou, who is known as the artist for To-Love Ru and related series. It has a post on Yande.re.

Google reverse image search also brings me to an article from ANN that says it’s the cover of one of Japan’s Weekly Playboy mags.

I don’t see any indication that it’s a particular character or person, but I also can’t read Japanese so no idea if there’s anything in the text that would suggest that.

GIFs worked for me a little over a week ago on !hentaigif but I haven’t tested it super extensively. I generally also upload as WebP but that one was already a GIF so I didn’t feel like converting it to WebP like I usually would.

My preference is to name the character and artist directly somewhere, usually in the title. It also works for searching when put in the description too. As long as you actually name the character/artist somewhere, it should work. Thanks for posting and asking!
