I thought it was one of my better comments too, especially in the height of what happened 5 months ago. That is literally how they look at us peasants, so I thought it would be pretty well received regardless of political views, as the sentiment at the time was that a CEO getting offed was something both parties in the US could agree was a pretty good thing, especially a healthcare one that was and is still well known to deny valid claims. shrugs

Also, Luigi was with me that day, and we had a very good time playing Whack-A-Mole at the local Dave and Busters in Washington state. >_>

My favorite is when they ban you without citing any of the rules you broke. Got shadow banned from news because I made a tongue in cheek reference to how billionaires see the whole of working class citizens. “no, just no” was all they put. No broken rule, and obviously, no grasp of sarcasm. Even had the /s and everything.

Oh, dang! See, I forgot about that. That happens near the end when the big bad is coming, right?

Yeah, I still enjoyed Fable 3 for what it was, but they definitely dropped the ball on so so many things that made me love Fable 2 the most out of the franchise.

That hand holding crap was a semi neat idea, but they overused it for quite a lot of things that didn’t necessitate that mechanic. Helping the little girl out of the cave was a good use for it, and leading your love interest in the beginning, and then helping your right hand man (I forget his name at the moment) when he was blind. Other than that, why? :P

I just can’t do it. Tried doing it on Red Dead Redemption 2, and the very beginning guy hanging from the cliff, I just couldn’t do it.

I can’t do it on any games I play, because I choose options that I would actually make in that situation. :'-]

Same here. It’s a videogame, I don’t want to have to do inventory management if I am trying to play in my limited time frame, I just want to play the game!

Are you excited for the new Fable reboot? I’m wary of how companies are now, and the fact that Playground games is making it (they’ve only made extremely good racing games) so there is some hope!

I don’t know man. I’ve seen a few elections now and don’t remember that happening.

Sometimes, I feel like the average Linux user is just on very old or at the very least pretty old hardware.

I know I am probably wrong, but it just seems odd that in X11 my 8 year old ultrawide 144hz 1080p monitor is literally a stuttery and jittery mess when moving windows, when animations play, and even moving the cursor around. I believe I tried playing a game, and it also being a stuttery mess, but I can’t remember as that was around 6-7 months ago.

Using Wayland, on the other hand, as soon as I logged in for the first time it was definitely noticeably NOT like it was in X11. Frame rate was 144hz, everything mentioned above just worked as I would expect. It even feels smoother than Windows which I still have to use every now and then. Gaming on it is a blast 99% of the time, and I game A LOT! (completed ~10 games on openSUSE Tumbleweed just this year!)

So, sometimes I just feel like I said, and as I also said, I’m probably wrong. I have never logged back into X11 except when I upgraded my graphics card a month or so ago because of the stuttery feeling of X11. Some things did work better under X11, I guess, but that is probably because of the stagnant adoption of Wayland?

Besides me using Linux since the beginning of this year until now, I am still a Linux noob, so my opinions are just that. I have no real knowledge of Linux that would qualify me to be any good source of info. I just don’t get the slow adoption is all!

That’s why I was here. I’ve already made a few more accounts just to have backups in case this happens again, but I really really enjoyed how I could see most of the Fediverse, and could block with my own settings if I didn’t like the way another instance was ran. I will miss it. :'-]

And people will STILL try to push the door, or wait for it to open.
