10·3 years agoI’m still bitter that they killed Inbox. It was superior to Gmail in every way.

3·3 years agoTotally. Those tentacles gave me a super hard time
All I can think of is that OP is going to some kind of comic-con and has intricate body paint/an outfit that is so inconvenient to take on and off that they’d rather minimize their food and drinks for 3 days.

Coffee@lemmy.world•I'm thinking of buying the cheapest Nespresso machine
2·3 years agoThe machine may be cheap but keep in mind the cost of those pods. If you’re on a student budget, I’d recommend buying some sort of coffee pot, whichever fits your preferences. Either an Italian espresso maker, or a French press, or an aeropress. Those are pretty cheap and can all be used with regular coffee, which will be way more budget friendly in the long run.

Creative@beehaw.org•I just finished this temari ballEnglish
1·3 years agoI like to follow written instructions so I would recommend finding books on places like archive.org to get started.
I haven’t used video instructions, but I assume YouTube has a ton of them.

1·3 years agoI would say the initial wrapping usually takes me an evening, so 2-3 hours. Then the marking may take 1-2 hours depending on the type. And the embroidery can vary a lot depending on the design. It can take 2 hours, it can take 10.
But the process is very satisfying. You can see your progress and the geometry of it all is really fun to observe and build upon.
