HI :)
Hats off to the Indian community that thought me everything I know about Microsoft Excel 🫡
Malaysian here 👋🏻
Honestly we have been having such a hard time getting international acts to the country (we have religious radicals that ate strongly opposing these shows).
It was only recently with a tough government swap that things are starting to get better - things were starting to open up.
Less than half a year since things got better, this clown decided to run his mouth, insulting the government and fueling these religious radicals with more reasons shows should be banned.
Honestly, good fcking job, 2 steps forward, 1 step back. You fcked us all.
Don’t think most of us with Bluetooth earbuds can tell the difference 🥲
oooh I can feel something big is coming - them testing the anti-adblock and raising the prices at the same time. Spotify is going to be in a weird place for me if this goes through.
Youtube blocks adblockers ➡️ More people are “forced” to subscribe to Youtube Premium ➡️ Because of higher price that includes YT music, not sure whether I’ll need Spotify too ➡️ Youtube wins
Some upvotes here and there never hurt :)
…ah, that glorious bastard.
I get it now. Thanks 😂
”Charlie, that really hurts~” hits a bit different after seeing this 🥲
Hey guys, can someone please explain the Beans thingy 🙏🏻 I’ve been seeing it all day but don’t get it.
Been using Memmy on iOS & the official website for Mac
Wefwef is a browser app - search it up directly on your browser.
Memmy is currently only iOS :( but I’m sure Android community is amazing too! I’m seen people talking about Lemmy apps in other discussions, try searching them up!
After playing around with the official release, I’m back to the TestFlight version again - super excited and want to be on the front line seeing what the app can offer 🥳
Right… I gotchu. Never ever thought of doing that tbh. Might just be me but I have that mentality of setting everything up just nice and never change it again till the end of time - OCD almost 🤔
For a first time user, I was previously very optimistic to try Lemmy on the desktop but it felt so overwhelming and confusing for me - from setting up a base account and everything. Memmy dumbed it down enough for me to get started and understand how the hell Lemmy works.
Ooh interesting request… Just out of genuine curiosity, why are you switching back and forth? What is your use case?
I would think most people (including myself) would find (or customise) a view that works best for them and stick to it perpetually - until it is time to improve on it or switch things up for a fresh look.
ALSO: Kuddos for the amazingly simple analogy of hubs and emails for the startup screen, made setting up Lemmy for the first time such a breeze 💪🏻
Cows need to come standard with a fat wing on its back.
