I think I remember seeing the live action movie when I was a kid, and that’s the only reference I have of the characters

1 - My main Sony Trinitron
2 - A smaller Philips vhs combo tv that I want to integrate to a retrocart setup
3 - PC monitor for my Intel 386 and AMD Athlon retro builds
4 - A cute 5-inch monochrome travel TV
5 - An Amstrad GT-64 monochrome monitor for Amstrad CPC 464, Commodore 64 and sometimes Gameboy games through the super Gameboy on SNES.

Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•Retail stores still selling the same overpriced junk since at least 2019 and even pretending it's on saleEnglish
34·3 months agoYeah Intel Celeron+4gb ram is a total slogfest on Windows, Linux makes it a bit more bearable.
If they are made to be as cheap as possible, why don’t they just drop the Windows license and preload them with Linux Mint or something?

I’ve come to love truenas scale, running a nas on my old computer and it has support for apps like jellyfin, plex, makemkv and handbrake.
I stream it to my tv with an 2019 Nvidia shield since apparently it has the best media format support out of the many android boxes.

RetroGaming@lemmy.world•What is the cheapest console to get and collect for that still holds up?English
41·4 months agoI think we’re entering/in the nostalgia wave for the 7th generation consoles (Xbox 360/PS3/Wii) so prices for those might rise while prices for 6th gen (OG Xbox/PS2/Gamecube) might fall.
8th gen (Xbox One/PS4/Switch) is probably more accessible/plentifull both used and new still.
