Canceled the service myself when they annouced this. Whats the point of a 4 screen subscription in a 2 person household. Would downgrade but video quality and screens are linked. Either way the content on Netflix has been going downhill IMO so it was just another nail in the coffin for me

I feel that way too. My 2080 is still good so the itch isnt as strong but when I play something on my 4k TV and the fps dips below 60 the itch returns. I truly don’t want to buy anything from nvidia or amd even for a good while so here’s hoping Intel keeps at it and doesn’t get stupid expensive as well

I lurk mostly because I feel like its pointless to comment in places with already thousands of them. Someone has likely already shared/commented what I’m thinking about but I need to snap out of that here. At least till this place takes off

Same. It got me to oficially jump over to Lemmy. Reddits been veering downhill and always wanted an alternative. Kind of glad all this got more people to Lemmy etc.

Same just needs a few more people and a few more niche communities and we’re set.

Used to play a ton of MMOs. Ffxiv was probably my favourite. Tons to do though I mostly focussed on trying to do the difficult boss content. Non existent PvP though which is probably the only downside. New world was quite fun, looks like they added a bunch of new stuff there too but it’s probably not a game that will keep you entertained for a long time. I played archeage as well. Had a very modular class system and the combat was very entertaining imo though it became a p2w type of game.
