Or just a good PR stunt to promote Californication back then?

What? I have 6 weeks and my wife 10 weeks of payed leave in the Netherlands. Nobody will expect anything of you in this time. Around childbirth you have 6 weeks as a partner, 3 months as a mom. All payed. Afterwards moms have about 3 months of payed leave, too. Then on top each partner has 3 months of payed parental leave that you can freely distribute over the first 8 years, your employer has basically no say in that. And oh yes, we have affordable public healthcare.
Just saying, in case you were considering…
My goodness this is so full of wrong arguments I don’t even know where to start. If it wasn’t bad enough the almonds and quinoa make it perfect. What’s next? Vegans eat the rainforest because they eat tofu? Veganism is not a diet! Heavens sake. Talk to your ‘good’ lifestock farmers. Ask them if they give their animals names and if no, why. Ps. I am an agronomist with a PhD and became a convinced vegan 5 years back because it’s just the right thing to do in so many ways not only from my professional knowledge but from a point of basic decency.
Sorry who can translate this to a European?

462·7 days agoApart from it’s an old story, discussed already back and forth, Proton’s claims regarding privacy are really weak. Especially when it comes to presenting Switzerlamd as a privacy safehaven. Switzerland is a tax evasion savehaven, not a privacy safehaven, Proton. How Proton puts it: we provide world class privacy (but have to break our claims and comply with Swiss law immediately once there is a legitimate or not request from law enforcement, oepsie sorreyy!)

81·1 month agoBought a fp 5 lately. It’s a quality nightmare. Has a bug regarding ‘fluid in usb port’ error message. Consequence: phone does not charge. Phone is brand new. Google the bug. Turns out a hundreds of other users reported the bug already 9 months back via fp user forum. Nothing has happened. They just let it rot.
Sent it to repair. Got it back with the same bug again. Have had all fp models in the past. Was okay happy, but my fp journey ends here. I think the company has serious problems.
Thank you, oh sweet childhood memories…
