If I were dictator of Victoria I would declare that every suburb needs a meerkat habitat, so everyone can visit meerkats whenever they need to. Boom, mental health improves by 1000%.

What a gorgeous day out there. I have shopped, done a load of washing, and am currently having an iced coffee. My plan for the rest of the day is to clear the spare table so I can start doing jigsaws again.

Went for a walk. Perfect walking temperature and a nice breeze.

Geez. The great ocean road hogged all the rain and we got none. I don’t think the outcome is good for either party.

Um what?! clothes in the park from stolen cars?

I do the same as you, washed and folded. Check for stains (don’t forget the underarms), missing buttons, holes etc. If anything’s wrong with it I bin it. I know I could attempt to repair things but I also know it would sit in a pile forever waiting for me to do it. There’s no shortage of clothes in the op shops so some things just need to go in the bin. (None of my clothes are designer or valuable in any way). I don’t buy much from op shops, but if I do I always wash before using.

I can hear the thunder, it’s a nice sound after the heat. Hope more rain comes, the fire affected areas really need it.
