I like the way my area does it. Electronic machine, prints an easily human readable ballot that you then review and physically turn in. Only change I’d be tempted to make would be if it printed a copy for you to keep, but I can think of issues with that idea.
Found that there is probably a small leak in my roof somewhere, so that’s fun. Not sure what else would be causing a wet spot on the exterior wall after last night’s rain.
On the bright side, the bit of rain over the weekend basically filled my 2 rain barrels so at least I know that works and collects a good amount of water. Somewhere around 80 to 90 gallons would be my guesstimate.
Edit: Rained a bit more, definitely some sort of leak, but also rain barrels are nearly full now (I’d guess north of 100 gallons, 100% full should be 110 gallons)
Also make sure you are well covered to avoid burns from weld spatter.
And sunburn. First time I played around with welding I didn’t get any weld splatter, but just about 30 seconds to a minute of welding in short sleeves was enough to sunburn (er, I guess weldburn?) my arms. That light’s intense.
My last employer was trying to get autonomous busses going. As far as I knew, when I left a few years ago the only place the busses were allowed to be autonomous was around the bus depot to hit all the maintenance, fueling, and cleaning stations on closed roads before parking itself (and I’m actually not 100% sure they would park themselves) at the end of the day. There was no timeline for on-route autonomy that I was aware of, but I was also not really involved so my info was 2nd hand.
You know, the truck I had at the time somehow never had it’s Sirius radio shut off. Although, I never got billed for it either…

Ordered dirt, company delivered landscaping rocks, they apologized, we laughed, they laughed, the rocks didn’t laugh. Our garden beds are now filled with a compost/topsoil blend, just need to plant stuff.

Well, this weekend went way better than the week started. My sister-in-law had an awesome time at her prom from what she told us. And my wife somehow found an MSR 4-person tent for $10 at Goodwill. We did a test set up yesterday and the thing looks like it’s unused.
They might be doing some sort of glass chop in areas (actually, i wouldnt be surprised if this is what they mean by “composit body panels”, open molds would be cheap as hell, and parts are cheap too), but I used to use that more for body panels or exterior details than anything super structural. I guess they could do fiberglass frame rails, but that still feels like it would be a strange choice at what just doing basic ladder frame in steel would cost.
