Don’t apply for a job subject to the FMCSR in the US and expect to be able to use. The feds and insurance companies don’t care if it’s legal locally. But it does pay.

My last laptop was an HP Stream. Crappy laptop, but it had a touchscreen. It worked fine whenever I remembered that it had a touch screen. I didn’t have to set anything up, it was just automagicly setup for me on Ubuntu. Couldn’t tell you how responsive it was and that laptop would have been a poor benchmark anyways, but if I touched a button or scrolled the screen, it would do the thing.

Sorry, I’m old. Prefer a physical keyboard to a screen keyboard any day.

Generally, jeans and a t-shirt. Sometimes a button-up. A sweater if it’s cold. Not much different than what I wear at work.

Honestly, I would settle for a low speed passenger rail network if it could actually get me where I need to go. Which currently it doesn’t.

Depends where you are and how old the place is. Newer places (last 15ish years or so) will have the auto flush toilets but most businesses only upgrade the bathrooms when things brake.

I got tired of the torn up cuffs and jean cuffs are uncomfortable to walk on when you don’t have shoes on.

So far, meh. Not good or bad for me and mine, but I’m watching my country devolve in double time with damned little I can do about it except prepare for the worst and hope for the best. It’s a bit nerve racking to be honest.

Pretty much all of them, for much the same reason. If I’m paying you directly, you shouldn’t be showing me ads. If the amount you’re charging is not enough to support your service without showing me ads in addition to my subscription fee than you should raise the damned price.

To be clear, Ad supported is fine. Subscription supported, fine. I’m not paying a subscription to watch ads.
