  • Cops are agents of violence, not designed to perform any duty beyond being the government’s muscle. Even when they do useful things like shutting down roads so the fire department can clean up car crashes, they’re doing that as a wall of force.

However, the main thing people don’t understand about violence is that IT IS NEVER NON-LETHAL. Any less-lethal tool of violence, from tear gas to tasers, can kill. Rubber bullets and choakholds can kill! Even fucking pepper spray CAN KILL!

I blame the media for showing heroes subduing people by knocking them unconscious. The entire concept is total fantasy; a cheap writing trick to prevent main characters from being murderers. If someone is unconscious for more than a few moments, they likely have serious brain damage.

Batman being able to never kill is absurd fantasy logic that people go on to believe. Statistics dictate that eventually someone will die. Cops will always kill people. It’s their job. We shouldn’t rely on them for anything else, and attempting to use them as the main tool for reducing crime is a fool’s errand.

  • I was more talking about never assuming good faith when dealing with. Obviously Reagan and Bush were inconsistent, but it is possible to negotiate with terms that they will choose to follow. These negotiations wouldn’t be built on trust, but accurate assessments of self interest. No trust is needed in that sort of deal.

Fascists can be easier to predict if you ignore their words and look at their actions. They don’t behave consistently with words, but they do behave consistently in strategy.

  • You’re overestimating the uninformed stupidity of average people. They might be fine with trans people, but if they grew up in a conservative environment, they’ll act based on what their friends believe.

Most will not accept that they were wrong, but they’ll be looking for villains for their suffering, and we need to point the finger at the wealthy. If we don’t, every single one will target us. They’re scared fools looking for answers, so we must give them.

Honestly, Trump isn’t that much dumber than most presidents. He actually understood how to break the system, mostly because he wasn’t clouded by love for it. I wouldn’t call him a mastermind, but he has better political instincts than anyone. He’s an idiot, but he’s fully aware what he’s doing.

They don’t deserve sympathy, but giving them mercy is necessary if we’re to undermine and resist fascism. I hate how hung up everyone gets on what people “deserve.” Punitive justice is trash, and I will not accept putting retribution before what’s right. I won’t defend the evil they committed, but I will defend them if they want to help.

There is no way to undo an injustice. You can sometimes rebuild, but that isn’t undoing what was done. The past cannot be corrected, but the future can be improved. All that matters is what must be done. Kill the fascist threats, not as vengeance, but to prevent future harm.

Fuck what you think people deserve. If you can make a person a fascist no more, they can once again be good. However, the only good fascist is still a dead one.

  • They’ll realize the economy crashed and look to blame someone. We need to tell them the real answer(the rich), or they’ll default to the wrong answer(the queers, Jews, brown people, women, other countries). Tell them who fucked the world up. Not Trump, but the real corporations that have been sucking us dry.
