The supposedly russian bad guys are mostly not actually russian. Mostly they are some variety of native Germanic speaking actors. If the casting department is going for authenticity, it may be someone speaking the wrong branch of Slavic.

When I vote, I walk to my local voting place, chat with people I know, vote, chat a bit more, then walk home. Perhaps half an hour, if I’m feeling chatty.
2·4 months agoI don’t know how you could possibly fit 999,999,999 people into an SSN, or even the entire current fleet of US SSNs. And I don’t know how reusing numbers will help, given the time to build a new SSN. But it will undoubtedly be a disaster for the USN and the US. Hopefully, some of us outside the US, will be alive to make memes about it.
We may have our opinions about the qualities of Reddit. But the Daily Mail? I feel dirty, just having a link to that dump on my screen.

Step up military aid to Ukraine significantly. That is the only way to peace. Giving in to russian demands would only lead to a short cease fire, before they launch their next attack.
That so many Germans have bought into russian propaganda is a major hurdle.
Some of us are given free meals to eat in our paid meal breaks.
Nothing fancy though. Most times, the chef only makes a starter or a dessert. Rarely both.

It is quite annoying to be Russia’s neighbours. But you can work around it. In fact, it’s not bad to train yourself to operate without GNSS. And it would be even better if the jammers decided to spontaneously combust.

2·5 months agoI’ve never been to a Starbucks. But from the content I see about them online, they do seem like a typical American fakery outlet.
Venti, that’s twenty in Italian, is a cup of twenty American stupidity units of coffee. And their new CEO has a commute in excess of 1600km!
Even if I enjoyed coffee, I would find somewhere else to spend my money.
The Russian regime would be more than happy to have their propaganda outlets branded “news”. But it’s not. And since it’s not a source of news, there’s no reason for Ground News to include it.
Besides which, RT has been sanctioned in the response to the Russian full scale invasion of Ukraine. This makes it difficult to maintain a business relationship, which linking might very well be.
