True, although I lack the 768 GB of RAM to run the full model.

While technically correct for deepseek also incorrect. I use deepseek through open router and I specifically use providers that do not collect chat logs.

Zetta@mander.xyzto Technology@lemmy.world•Google cuts hundreds of jobs in Android division.English4·5 days agoTrue, I suppose I’m fairly niche in that regard. I mostly made scans of environments using photogrammetry. Basically just documenting a space in time. Like my room, or house, or place I work. It’s cool having a 3d environment, it hits different than a photo. I will be able to explore my old spaces I use to be in everyday in the future if I want to reminisce.
Zetta@mander.xyzto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Is it ethical for a parent to raise their children in their faith tradition?2·5 days agoWhat? Safe sex solves a significant amount of issues like sexually transmitted diseases and underage pregnancy. What In the world are you trying to say?
Zetta@mander.xyzto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Is it ethical for a parent to raise their children in their faith tradition?3·5 days agoThere probably wouldn’t be much religion, how nice that would be. Religion would mostly cease to exists if children were not indoctrinated before they developed critical thinking skills.
Religion relies on naive children being brought into the fold, and to a lesser degree damaged and desperate adults needing hope or something to believe in.

Zetta@mander.xyzto Technology@lemmy.world•Google cuts hundreds of jobs in Android division.English7·5 days agoI agree with you except I really want lidar, making 3d scans of things is fun and cool. I got really into photogrammetry a few years ago and Lidar is the one iPhone feature I’m jealous of.
Zetta@mander.xyzto News@lemmy.world•State tells employees to report on one another for ‘anti-Christian bias’16·6 days ago100%, I’ve made my distaste for religion clear but I’m honestly jealous of them sometimes. How nice would it be to truly believe there is a heaven or after life of some kind, that would be a nice feeling indeed.
Zetta@mander.xyzto News@lemmy.world•State tells employees to report on one another for ‘anti-Christian bias’731·6 days agoYou know, I totally agree people are free to believe whatever they want and obviously I know and am friends with/family with people who are religious and I don’t necessarily think poorly of them on an individual basis.
However, my belief on a personal level is religion is fucking stupid and an artifact of humans from a bygone age when we were significantly dumber, unintelligent, and didn’t know anything about the world and universe. I hate religion and wish I could live long enough to see it die. It makes me so happy knowing that overall religious individuals, at least in the US, are declining year over year.
I’m aggressive about it here because this is the internet and those are my true feelings. But ya irl it would be pretty scummy to be so hostile and rude to someone based purely on their religious beliefs

I recommend FOSS for absolutely everything you use if possible.

“Eight individuals who had accidentally consumed an exceedingly high amount of LSD, mistaking it for cocaine, and had gastric levels of 1,000–7,000 μg/100 mL LSD tartrate and blood plasma levels up to 26 μg/mL, had suffered from comatose states, vomiting, respiratory problems, hyperthermia, and light gastrointestinal bleeding; however, all of them survived without residual effects upon hospital intervention.[7][109]” - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/LSD
I don’t actually know how the blood plasma measurements work so take this with a huge grain of salt but assuming 5 liters of blood In the human body and half of it is plasma the person with 26 Ug/mL had about ~65mg of lsd in their blood. Which is like 650 standard 100ug doses.
Yes I do want the best, suppose I’m a child.
I’d rather spend pennies and send technical logs to a 3rd party inference provider than run a cut down model at still quite slow speeds on my own hardware.
