The games I pre-bought to play on Deck, these aren’t the games I play on it. I figured it would be good with things like Days Gone, Citizen Sleeper, Disco Elysium, but instead I ended up playing mostly Euro Truck Simulator 2 in the early days. The driving is surprisingly good handheld, far superior than keys and mouse.

I didn’t bother upgrading the internal storage, I just added an SD card. A long USB-C cable is very useful too sometimes.

I use a Dlink branded one, and it’s just plug and play. Rated for 65W power, so it maintains charge. It also has SD card reader but not used that.

The best non-aggressive way is to post quality content here, then post a link to the lemmy page in a subreddit. Content is king they say, and where it’s hosted owns the content.

Or to put it another way: post the content here and post links to here on other social media. Stop treating Reddit as a first-class citizen, it’s just another channel where posting links will pull people here. Eventually folk will switch to the discussions here instead of commenting there. Play the long game.

Right now, yeah. It had become part of my daily routine, and it’s challenging. With a little effort, I’ll release myself from their evil grasp.

Wordle, chess.com daily puzzle, and the Guardian quick crossword are my daily routine. I’m not keen on the crossword and would replace it with a better one but haven’t found it yet. Irish Times one was good, long ago.
