Apple@lemmy.world•Apple Music Rolling Out Disclosure Tags for AI-Made Songs
4·5 days agoWell, it’s an interesting idea at least. Given that it’s voluntary I don’t know how useful it’ll be. But I appreciate the idea behind it.
Wow this looks great! I was somehow unaware of this person before, but I’m already seeing some recipes on their website I want to try. Thanks!

Programming@programming.dev•We Overhauled Our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy - Another VC funded bait and switch
9·8 days agoWell that didn’t take long at all. 😕
I’m gonna give that fork a try today.
Ooh, these look good! I’ve been wanting to try my hand at these myself. As you said they are just so time intensive!
My favorite dipping sauce when I cook up the frozen ones I get from the international grocery is equal parts soy sauce, Chinkiang vinegar, and Lao Gan Ma chili crisp.
I will say one thing, I never truly know where this story is gonna go at any given moment.
Our small group has had a lot of fun with REPO and Lethal Company. Both are very similar gameplay wise but REPO feels more polished imo.
There are no complex systems to learn and little or no progression at all so it’s easy to pick up and play.

Games@lemmy.world•Seamus Blackley interview | What an Xbox founder thinks of the new Xbox CEOEnglish
3·15 days agoI’ll echo support for the controller. People made fun of the original huge one, but the “S” variant and its successors felt quite good in my hands. I also have an Elite Series 2 that I use with my PC and it’s been great.

71·19 days agoThe humor and style definitely gives me a 2000s internet flash game vibe. I don’t necessarily mean that as a jab, it’s just kinda the vibe. Doesn’t look like my cup of tea though.
I’ve had this problem with scrambled eggs and cast iron. Two things help for me. One is letting the eggs set a bit before I commence scrambling. And the second comes down to choice of spatula. I find that a thin metal “turner” spatula does a much better job at cleanly separating the egg from the pan.
I’m with you on episode 4. It remains one of my favorites.

3·27 days agoWow, that’s pretty crazy. I at least had no idea this happened. I did not own the game personally but I know we rented it a few times and it was surprisingly fun.

34·29 days agoWell shit. I hope the supposedly in development Control 2 manages to come out somewhat unscathed before things go fully downhill.
So far unfortunately I agree with this. I want to love Stampede/Stargaze. But it just seems to lack the heart that made the OG series so memorable, and as you said it seems to be moving very fast and the characters feel thin and underdeveloped. Things just happen so quickly I don’t feel like there’s enough time to get invested.
There are moments that truly stand out; Really any scene that Milly and Meryl share together (not the banana split!) makes me smile.
I thought this looked really cute. Something I could imagine playing with either my kid or spouse, whoever I can convince to try it.

Cocktails, the libationary art!@lemmy.world•Cocktail recommendations with Mezcal
3·2 months agoWe’ve been buying this same mezcal and have been enjoying it quite a bit! I will sometimes just make an oaxaca old fashioned as another commented.
Another drink we like is one we found on Difford’s Guide called Devil’s Soul. https://www.diffordsguide.com/cocktails/recipe/6127/devils-soul
Last one, I had a mezcal cocktail in a bar once that they called a Noche Buena. No idea if this is just some other drink under a different name but we like it a lot!
2 oz mezcal 1/2 oz amaro 1/2 oz cointreau 1 tsp agave nectar (or use agave simple syrup) Dash saline water
Stirred and strained into a coupe glass.
Oof. That’s a cruel trick to play, Yoru.

Adding to the confusion, the last page has since been changed so it now says the usual to be continued text instead of final chapter.
