I had this, but then I got a job which requires me to be in remote places all week, working alone. It turned out I learned how to enjoy my own company but it took a while. I guess if you wanted to try going camping alone or something you could trial that out, it wouldn’t hurt.

Yep agree. The tradie tools have got the right thing going. You get a couple batteries and then the tool skins, like vacuums or blowers. The battery dies after a few years and you just get another.

And I agree those ones with soldered in batteries feel like they’re meant to be disposable. The corded vacuums are what you need for carpet or anything else though. Nothing beats a wet/dry shop vacuum haha

Yeah true. Zerode bikes are taking it on. I have an older zerode with a heavy shimano alfine gearbox but the new ones are integrated with a belt instead of a chain as well.
