The first few episodes have some cringe depictions of the cultural revolution but that’s mostly just to establish one character. Afterwards its mostly just cool space opera from there. I really enjoyed it. Haven’t read the books tho
Obligatory another kkkrakkka down unlimited genocide on the first world
Socialism is when union boss Communism is when union superboss
I feel like at this point, it’s just so they can stop working on the project and blame it on the inevitable C&D. The only project I know of that avoided this was the person who made a links awakening dx hd for pc, released the game in full and then they disappeared.
Bought a cheap steam key for smt 3 nocturne and modded the hell out of it. It’s been pretty fun aside from the time I got ambushed, insta killed and lost a few hours of progress because my dumbass never saves.
Guess they turned off the heart attack gun
He’s electable if YOU VOTE FOR HIM!!!
It seems they organized with CWA, which is a real union. CWA has been organizing heavily in game dev and tech for years now. For example the Alphabet workers union is CWA and they’ve worked closely with the no tech for apartheid campaign which is awesome. How strong the Bethesda local will be will depend on how active their members are.
This 100%. The job of socialist organizers within the union is to take those wins, protect them, use them to fight for more wins, win leadership positions and ultimately build a school for working class struggle. The jobs of socialist activists outside the union is to support the union so that they get wins. External criticism of unions from the outside breaks internal unity and prevents solidarity from building between unions and parties/external orgs.
Last time on Kid’s Next Door: The delightful children from down the lane found a regular gun, but fukn missed
I see where you’re coming from. Elect enough socialists/progressives to some state legislature such that they can pack a committee. When/ if a conservative piece of legislation comes through the committee, poison pill it with good stuff and hope it leads to a legal battle in the supreme court. To get to that point would require electing enough socialists/progressives. And those elected being disciplined enough to not break ranks (either through a single party or a strong coalition). I feel like if we got to that point the ruling class would actually see it as a threat and drop pretenses. You already see these huge well funded recall campaigns when a single progressive or socialist gets elected to a city council spot.
Let’s fucking go! Good luck trying to find replacements for some of the most specialized workers in the world
“I’ve come to make an announcement; Big Pharma’s a bitch ass motherfucker, he pissed on my fucking wife. Thats right, he took his overpriced-insulin quilly dick out and he pissed on my fucking wife, and he said his dick was “This big” and I said that’s disgusting, so I’m making a callout post on my twitter dot com, Big Pharma, you’ve got a small dick, it’s the size of this walnut except WAY smaller, and guess what? Here’s what my dong looks like: PFFFT, THAT’S RIGHT, BABY. ALL POINTS, NO QUILLS, NO PILLOWS. Look at that, it looks like two balls and a bong.”
This means they’re finally going to give us healthcare right?
Author’s writing record is constantly talking about Cuba’s imminent collapse. It’s giving gusano: https://english.elpais.com/author/carla-gloria-colome-santiago/

To add on, the status quo period, at least for our union, doesn’t mean you can’t still file grievances (formal process for remedying contract violation). It just means you can’t take those cases to arbitration (third party judge decides on case). Its usually good to use unresolved grievances and any unfair labor practices (like the aforementioned unilateral changes in working conditions) to add leverage to negotiations and use settling them as part of the final agreement with the employer.
Look i dont know the month to month military capabilities of the western front. But what i do know is that the west was incentivized to delay invasion for as long as possible. Yes, part of that was military build-up, but part of that was also just letting the USSR and Nazi Germany tire each other out. And after the war, instead of recognizing the wins, losses and efforts the soviets made during the war, the US almost immediately jumped into cold war posturing.
Churchill was dragging his feet in the mud. He didn’t like the soviets and he made that very clear. The allied powers also had the cairo and tehran conferences in late 1943 (well after Stalingrad) where Stalin was begging for the western front to open. Then it took another 7 months to actually do D-Day.
I thought Leland Stanford Junior university was like a community college or smthing
