The hosting service throttled the server when the admin tried getting Lemmy running along side Piefed.

The throttling has stopped, and the fediverse has gooner posts once more.

Not the commentor, but yes: time to set up and configure each account, not interacting with folks on the social media I gave up, and time and effort pumping posts and comments into the Fediverse.

I’m not sure who downvoted you. But yeah, it’d be great if there were more instances of everything in the fediverse, but administration takes time, effort, and money.

Piefed will automatically post new communities to that comm unless users uncheck a lil box. The admin asked us to uncheck it, so it stopped.

Separate OS account and a separate browser. I don’t need porn ads seeping into my work life.

On mobile, it’s just a separate app.

Yeah, it seems like a weird exclusion. It seems like there’s an automatic duplicate merging feature, for posts that point to the same URL.
