OK, found it. My actor doesn’t have sharedInbox and PieFed blindly assumes https://$domain/inbox. I added this in my server (points to the application actor’s inbox) and now federation seems to work fine. Yay!
Bigger is not always slower, a CRC32 tool with a pre-computed table will be bigger but faster. And executables don’t “run from RAM”, this is not how virtual memory and file-backed mappings work.
