I already have my own copy for Xbox 360, but just wanted to say Enslaved is a great (but admittedly flawed) game for anyone who hasn’t played it!
Libre Office Draw is another Ai alternative
Fair point. Let’s add positively to the discussion then. An admittedly easy place to start is Google search. Here are some alternatives to try:
None of the above are perfect, but all are much better in terms of their impacts on others IMO.
I haven’t seen mention of duckduckgo in this thread or related ones. I use it regularly and I don’t have too many issues with it. Anyone aware of concerns with it?
Burning the midnight oil aye?
Hell yeah. What games did you pick up with it?
Hanabi - a pretty simple card game in which you work together to put on a fireworks show. You can’t see your own hand, but instead can see everyone else’s. Others give you hints about what’s in your hand so you can make plays.
10-minute dungeon - a kickstarter table top game where you tear through as many dungeons/monsters as possible in 10-minute increments (I think). It’s been awhile since I’ve played it, but I have very fond memories of it.
No, no, this sounds incredible!
Then you are not and never were an ally. I have “White Fragility” by Robin DiAngelo on my reading list. You might consider adding it to yours as well
Honestly, I think playing it with a friend might even bump it to 8/10. I had a blast with it despite the lack of innovation and repetitiveness of the gameplay
Slow down, live in the present, and enjoy who and what I already have in my life. That includes being more forgiving to myself and others, worrying less about all of the possible things I could be doing (personally and professionally) and instead choosing one thing at a time to focus my energy on, and being more aware of my own thoughts and feelings, then expressing them in a healthy way.
Maggie’s Farm by RAtM is also a great cover
I own a pair of Etymotic ER20XS ear plugs and I like them. I haven’t had the chance yet to try them out at a concert, but I have worn them on other occassions. I think they’re reasonably comfortable and the sound quality is still good while wearing them.
Cholula is where it’s at
Image Fight on NES. It’s a top down scrolling shooter where you fly a space ship and pick up new weapons and attachments. I was terrible at it as a kid but I loved it and kept trying to progress further. I’ve thought about picking up a copy now but just haven’t gotten around to it
Fuck man, I do miss the scrungy cats from the last place
My routines are a bit more casual and inconsistent than what others have posted. Lately I have been doing intervals on a stationary bike for 30 minutes three times per week. If the weather is nice, I’ll go for a walk 30-90 minutes depending on location and weather on days that I don’t do the stationary bike.
I eat fairly healthy and almost always at home. I make an effort to get two servings of raw fruit and veg each day, in addition to anything that I put into my meal prep for that week. I don’t eat much meat though, so I struggle a bit with protein intake.
In the past I’ve used MyFitnessPal to track my meals and check protein and calorie intake in particular. It’s a decent app and gave me what I needed.
Awesome, thank you!
