I lost my faith in electoralism after watching democrats in the same room steal Bernie’s delegates right in front of me. I also ran in elections and even won some…and then thought my life was in danger (and that I needed at least a few bodyguards 24/7 for myself and my family because the sheriff screamed right in my face once when I voted to defund his ass). I quit after that and realized that nothing would change this shithole except a violent revolution.

I agree with your second paragraph. I visited years ago for a day or two and the city basically seemed empty to me, which I found weird. Just not a lot of people were around. It’s very different from a place like NYC, which is completely packed.

Sorry you’re depressed. Someone I’ve gotten to know really deeply online who lives faraway overseas has disappeared from the internet and I’m concerned for their safety, so I’m a little depressed too. Not having a union / being relatively young (30 or less) / his dad has some kind of small construction company that he intends to work for soon. He also grew up in Florida and strongly hinted that he moved to our extremely white northeastern state because it’s much less racially diverse. I just started this (my first blue collar job) a few months ago and I already have hundreds of pages of stories like this in a journal / book I intend to publish sooner or later.

I have a gen z kid (right at the edge of gen z) and a gen alpha kid. I have heavily brainwashed them both. I know a white male coworker with a skilled full-time blue collar job who is on the edge of homelessness (living in a van) who managed to say like twenty rightwing clichés to me within minutes of first meeting him. I am white but whiteness is a hell of a drug.

Do a google image search with them for “Uyghur genocide.” There is absolutely nothing there, aside from a picture published by the Chinese government of some grumpy dudes sitting in a prison yard. Then compare this with an image search for Gaza. This worked with one lib I knew in the past. He doesn’t talk about the Uyghur genocide anymore. But he is still a fucking lib.

There is also an uncut YouTube video out there of someone walking around Urumqi I think and just watching people speak Uyghur and chill out. Hardly seems genocidal.

For my job I find myself going inside conservative homes several times each weekday. They almost never have any books inside them at all. The only books you are likely to find are the fucking bible. I don’t know who the fuck is buying these books (money launderers) or where they are going (probably straight into landfills). But I do know as a communist writer that it’s very difficult to sell books.

Edit: liberals will occasionally have terrible novels in their homes. Certainly less than five percent of the houses I’ve entered have large amounts of books which appear to have been read.
