9·1 month agoI guess OP is talking about smart TRVs (Thermostatic Radiator Valves).
I’ve been thinking of installing some myself, but this is ones of the things I’ve been worried about.
I also heard that SonOff makes some very silent ones (TRVZB).

41·2 months agoWhat if a post was its own separate thing, detached from the communities. You then “attach” the post to one or more communities.
When a user comments on a post, the comment “comes from community xyz” but all comments are attached to the post not the community.
Lemmy applications can choose to filter comments from one or more communities or show them all.

So even if they didn’t violate the anti-DEI, whoever controls the US gov could just decide to claw back money PSF already spent…
