  • It seems that in this case the cosplying as a female is entirely unnecessary.

Since the law allows one to legally change their gender with just a simple declaration, requiring no medical exam, hormone therapy, or “proof” etc., then why would this person choose to wear all of the feminine attire and accessories when doing so is just extra unnecessary effort. They seem to be enjoying it and doing a pretty thorough job from the looks of it.

It’s making me wonder if they’ve been in the closet their entire life and this situation gives them the perfect excuse to dress and behave the way they have always wanted to.

  • No law is ever going to be perfect, but perfection is the enemy good here.

It’s pretty well researched, understood, and established that your average 9 year old has so much more critical mental development they still need to undergo than your average 18 year old in order to become functional adults, regardless of what actual official age we define that as being.

Yes, some 18 year olds may still be taken advantage of, abused, hurt etc., but those 18 year olds, on average, will have a much better chance of defending themselves from and overcoming the damage done by an abusive “suitor” than the average 9 year old would. That is both physically and mentally.

In this case, I think it is a good albeit imperfect law as it serves the majority of the people and cases. Of course there will still be those outliers it fails to protect, but it is still a “net good”.

  • Great idea with the kielbasa! Gonna try that myself. I do this almost anytime I get frozen pizza as well, which is a bit of a nostalgic comfort food thing for me I guess (Red Baron or Tombstone on a Friday night for max nostalgia). I almost always end up adding more cheese, as the mfrs seem to skimp nowadays.

Sorry to see you got injured. How did it happen?

  • As I understand it, it is fundamentally possible, but at this point one of the worst bottle necks is the physical processing power required to analyze the video feed. Millisecond paced analysis of multiple aspects of multiple HD video feeds in real time by “AI” still takes some pretty heavy duty computational hardware at this point, which is impractical in a real world vehicle. It is prudent to do the research now though to be ready for the day when the hardware catches up. That said, I reckon that Waymo is in a much better position to do this research than than Tesla. Being under Google/Alphabet, they have access to the nearly 2 decades worth of Google Maps and Google’s machine vision training work, among other things, like not being a meme stock company headed by an emperor whose clothes are beginning to dissapear.
