Technology@lemmy.world•New battery life record: This CPU makes the best known business laptop more efficientEnglish
1·5 months agoThat was a joke 😂 I’m not seriously thinking they put ARM instructions in a x86 processor, though they might’ve tried to replicate the optimisations that led to less power usage in those RISC processors (I still can’t get why RISC CPUs are more power efficient honestly, it seems counter intuitive, now again it might just be because of overengineering).

Palestine@lemmy.ml•Leaks reveal Netanyahu deliberately imposed starvation in Gaza to 'force Hamas surrender'
6·8 months agoThat’s still an excuse to say he did it for a greater good. He did not. He wants Gaza exterminated because it’s a simpler way to colonize.
Interesting. In France, even with LLC, as a shareholder, you are responsible of the impact of a company going bankrupt. That also means you can’t let anyone destroy the company without acting against them. I would consider that as a compelling argument if the CEO is being a liability to the company.
That would explain a lot : Leto II became a worm because he ate dirt (spice - and a worm BTW)
Gamblers will talk about gains but forget about the odds
No, I actually hate that. But surprisingly pragmatic and accurate comments 👌
He said 2010, I was teached how to use the Microsoft Office suite in 1999. This goes way back.
(As a matter of fact one of my first website I made in FrontPage back then. I actually discovered Word on Windows 3.1 when I was around 5, hence my father’s friend calling me mehdi.doc lol)

It’s sane to have drama. It means we have humans doing the job and power dynamics being discussed. If there’s no drama, it means some people got shut down.

It depends. For me, the oil we used for fondue tabletop burners gave me nausea. Carbonated smells (also the proximity with sugar or other comestible compounds ?) might give gasoline this acceptable odor, but the rest is just so strong my brain aches. It might also be a reason for my car sicknesses.
