When do the bugs enter the coffee, and does me grinding my own coffee change anything?
100% agree, but does your average Lemmy user know the difference between vibe coding vs actual coding using some AI tool? Is vim being vibe coded or are the maintainers just using some AI tools?
I think actually on the programming side, we’re in a fairly good spot. I really think that AI will be a tool and it will make people more productive. I think that vibe coding is great for getting into programming. I think it’s gonna be a horrible thing to maintain. So I don’t think programmers go away. You still want to have the people who know how to maintain the end result. I’m a huge believer in AI. I’m not a huge believer in the things going on around AI. I find the marketing and the market to be sick and twisted, and there is going to be a crash, and it’s gonna be ugly.

I wonder if maintainers will start using AI coding tools more quietly, if the internet doesn’t have enough nuance to distinguish experienced people using Claude vs idiot tech Twitter using Claude.

I think iOS remembers private tabs even when you close and reopen safari. They do require your pin to view the private tabs 🤷

What version of Blorp are you on? See version at the bottom of the settings page.
Just to gauge the severity, how often when your using Blorp dies this happen? On a scale of very infrequently to it constantly interrupts what I’m doing.
Sounds like it might be difficult for this bug, but if you could find a list of steps to recreate this bug (starting with relaunch the app), I can fix this much more quickly.
Ok, but like honestly if GitHub kicks off my project then I can just move to another hosting platform. I would be mildly pissed that I lost the stars oh my repo. And then I would be minority inconvenienced that I have to find a new place to run my CI pipeline. I feel like there isn’t that much vendor locking with GitHub. Nothing they do is that unique.
1·4 days agoThis should be fixed now by sharing non Blorp urls. Update your app and you’ll get a prompt on how you wanna share the content when you click share. You can also unblur nsfw content, but it requires you be logged in with an account that has nsfw enabled

As far as charities go, I’m honestly not sure. Maybe someone could recommend a Gaza relief fund or something related to Trans rights. In my very ignorant and uninformed opinion, I imaging those are two causes that are really hurting right now. Also will all the Epstein stuff going on, probably not a bad idea to donate to an organization that fights sexual assault and human trafficking. Again, if someone better informed than myself could recommend some charities.
