Absolutely. I had the same problem as OP on the first boss and immediately put it down for the day after my first death, but when I got back to it the next day, I couldn’t put it down. Went through and got all endings and the game just kept rewarding me with more and more as I did.
Loved the soundtrack, loved the philosophical arguments, and that emotional rollercoaster punched me in the gut repeatedly and I just kept getting up for more.

Yeah agreed. I only like white chocolate in a couple ways, like in a white mocha, but I’m general is pretty gross imo. I have a close friend who I agree with taste in food nearly completely, except when it comes to chocolate. She ONLY likes white chocolate and it baffles me how her taste buds have failed her so completely.

Yeah I really enjoy Heroic. I moved to it when Lutris had a bug a couple years ago (hell, might be still in there) where it would flood my DNS server with over 1000 queries in under a second. It took me 2 weeks to really notice what was happening because as soon as it happened, suddenly I had no internet. At the time I was on Pihole which has a default flood control built in.
I kept going down a rabbit hole of researching Linux network problems, tried a dozen fixes, kept happening. Had to be very thorough and pay attention to what I was actively doing/using when it happened.
“Downside” of Heroic is I no longer have Ubisoftsupport. Also, fuck Ubisoft anyhow.

Yeah I can respect that, I have one bank where the only account I have there is a credit card now that I paid off my loan. Their app is terrible and half the time it doesn’t load on my home network because of all my ad and tracking blocking on my DNS server. I just want to check balances, you assholes. So yeah that one is strictly browser only for me.
Chase supports push notifications via their app now, so at least they’re moving forward toward something a bit more secure. But yes, I’m so pissed that so many banks use SMS when it’s known to be easily spoofed.
Yeah I gave up on flatpak when I wanted to use it with Steam + gamescope + gamemode + MangoHUD. It just wasn’t worth the hassle of configuring all the permissions, especially for someone who doesn’t mind updating the native install.
