I’m pissed and confused with Ubuntu already. I think arch might shorten my lifespan even further.
I wanna get into it but man, the mountain of knowledge I need to even understand what people are talking about is hard to climb. I’m trying to just get some stuff running in docker and it fails to launch and I’m like… How?! Isn’t that the whole point of docker lol. Baby steps I guess
Is he using his company to invest or his own pocket? Is this saying he passes on bad investment risk to his customers?
Yeah I’ve noticed that. Tryna work out how to delete most of them now lol. Cool to open them up and see what the are though
I get cha. No offence taken.
Av for audio video I presume. Thanks will look into it
Ah ok cool. Thnx. Still learning
I did the see it in any package managers sudo apt install bla bla bla. I literally just downloaded it clicked a link in the .Tar or .Zip and it appeared. I would have installed it the same way on windows. Guess it’s part of the learning curve.
Oh very interesting. I wasn’t aware. Thank you.
A wild thing for me was installing reaper(a music DAW) from the website and not seeing it in my app list. then finding out it needs to be installed in a opt folder and then I gotta make a .Desktop file so it’ll show up in my ‘start menu’ like damn, is this how it really is out in Linux?
Oh interesting.
Werthers original is my go to. Sweet, slightly salty. And lasts like 5 mins in your mouth, by the time it’s dissolved in your mouth your are already hopefully in your next flow state. And only 20kcal per candy
Sub to communities you wanna see pop off and that’s how they get more active.
Guy plays guitar and uke. Teaches kids music, gigged every day. Doesn’t consider himself a musician. I think you’re a more active musician than most professionals lol.
You in Melbourne? What kind of music do you like listening to?
Yeah that counts. Have you found a boopbox community on reddit?
Your video is an interesting concept. I do wonder though about switching genres each album. I get why, but as a consumer you’d have to let them know what to expect. That it’s all about exploration. Because let’s say your 2nd album pops off and goes viral for its hiphop. If you make your next album classical choir acapellas, you are essentially alienating your audience. Unless they know you pulling some weird shit from the beginning like ‘I love robots’ on netflix. You know what I mean? Feel like you’d lose momentum across time unless your audience expressly follows you because they want to see you explore in every direction.
But who am I to say anything, Im just a dude replying on the internet
I’ve actually been thinking of getting vocal lessons again. But my vocals aren’t what’s holding my music making back, I gotta get to making the content and marketing etc. So trying to not spread myself too thin. But man, when Im a billionaire, you know for damn sure imma have a cello with a sparkly ball at the end.
Thanks. Yeah I’m just trying to work at it slowly in my downtime instead of just watching YouTube all night.
