For me, hypnotism (or any related kind of play like conditioning) is about the act itself and the loss of control. I could go under, blackout, and wakeup an hour later and even if nothing happened, I’d still be very satisfied.

“How would you react to a stranger of the same sex buying you a drink?” is, IMHO, a perfectly acceptable question for this community that could easily be considered political by some. More borderline would be “Would you sleep with someone from the opposite end of the political spectrum? How about date?” Again, I think these could lead to some fun discussion without it becoming a problem.

Regarding illegality, lemmynsfw’s rules already cover that pretty well. I wouldn’t put a blanket ban on discussing anything illegal. The question discussing recreational substances recently comes to mind. Plus I wouldn’t want to rule out same-sex, anal, or anything else I consider perfectly ethical that is deemed illegal in some places in the world.
