Seems like you would be okay if you took them in any order, but man would you be pissed in 60 trillion years if they were wrong off the bat.

Everything is allowed on a hotdog. Seattle dogs have cream cheese, jalapenos and onions and are delicious.
You are right that Chicago dogs are the best, however. All the vinegar notes from the various pickles and peppers really work well with sausage.

Lets take it.
rainwall@piefed.socialto The Onion@midwest.social•Chris Pratt Announced As New Voice of RFK Jr.English13·2 days agoHa, the nypost and its incredibly complimentary article. The feats it lists for rfk are hilarious nothings, like “re-establishing the presidential fitness test” that we know does nothing for school children’s health, and getting various dyes out of food.
Not a peep about killing $500 million in advanced vaccine research or about vaccine restrictions that will kill literal thousands, if not tens of thousands of Americans a year. This article slightly pre-dated the CDC clusterfuck but im sure they wouldnt have mentioned it either.
Cant be healthy if youre dead you right wing rag.
rainwall@piefed.socialto Not The Onion@lemmy.world•Louisiana Senator: Our Maternal Death Rates Are Only Bad If You Count Black WomenEnglish5·2 days agoI literally said hes still a piece of shit, so that should answer your first question. As to “how is this not relevant?”
The article is talking about what might happen if Roe is overturned by the supreme court, and what that might mean down the line. That happened already. We are out of “might” and are several years down the line.
Lets talk about what’s currently happening, now. Discussing a speculative article about changes that “may occur in the future” is pretty odd when we are 3 years in the future and can literally tell the article what happened.

They found Tesla liable for $235 million. It’s the first case Tesla hasent been able to settle, and that’s a big ol’ number. They are going to have more lawsuits coming.

rainwall@piefed.socialto Programmer Humor@programming.dev•feat: Add CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md by numinit · Pull Request #15 · JiaT75/STestEnglish9·2 days agoSure. How?
Seems deceptively simple, but organizing people, especially people of incredibly divergent experiences and histories that may literally only share the traits of “is human” and “can code to varying degrees” is the complex part.
Saying “just do it right” is akin to saying “we dont need test or qa. Just code without bugs.”
People are easily as messy as code itself, if not worse. We need some kind of organizing principles to work together, and thats what codes of conduct are.
rainwall@piefed.socialto Programmer Humor@programming.dev•feat: Add CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md by numinit · Pull Request #15 · JiaT75/STestEnglish10·2 days agoIT projects almost always have several different “correct” answers, which is why they generally lead to debate or discussion. That’s where a code of conduct is needed.
Discussion between “shut up and code” people and everyone else doesn’t tend to be a positive place to work without some boundaries. If you want people to volunteer for projects, you need to treat them with a baseline respect, and that baseline needs to be agreed on.

They did assign an interim director, but he still hasent directly fired her, so shes still the director.

rainwall@piefed.socialto News@lemmy.world•The U.S. Air Force will provide Ashli Babbitt with military funeral honorsEnglish7·3 days agoNah, this is feeding the MAGA base. They have been ginning up conspiracies about her death since it happened, pushed by fox news/Tucker Carlson. They needed to find an excuse for one of their zealots being rightfully killed that day, in order to downplay the whole insurrection.
Her mom has kept the conspiracies alive, and conniving politicians have gone along with it because the media engine gives them a boost with the fanatics
This is just the latest example. MAGA can now go “see! She didn’t deserve to be shot! even though the air force says so!”

Cool. Solar panels produce near 100% power until they are 30 years old, which is when they drop to about 80% efficiency.
They pay out at about 10% a year and produce something useful. That’s a great investment that just keeps going.
