Haha, damn I am SO glad I sold my PS5 and TV lately.

Gaming has been an unenjoyable and unproductive waste of money for a while for me personally and honestly with the miasma of GenAI hanging around, there’s simply no way that the majority of such an artless, greedy, shareholder dominated industry could ignore the low-effort money machine.

These chatbots have really highlighted for me that, fundamentally, I don’t understand a lot of people. Maybe I’m neurodivergent in some way, or maybe I’m just a fussy weirdo, but the fact that so many people don’t give a rat’s ass about authenticity, hard work, and human effort is fucking shocking and really irritates me. I have no interest, less than no interest, in “consuming” “art” “created” by chatbots.

It’s nothing, created by nobody, for no-one. No choices involved, no style perpetuated, no matters of taste, no feelings of influence, no curiosity, no growth, no human communication, nothing real - just fucking chatbots from top to bottom. Misery.

Oh! Christmas, and maybe Halloween - there’s an estate up towards the top of Leominster, with a road in it called Pump Piece. We used to visit that road every Christmas and walk around the estate, the houses around there go all out with their Christmas decorations and they’re remarkable and unique. Probably quite tacky, but not in the same way that most other majorly decorated houses I’ve seen - the decorations are different, and cool. I remember one house that seemed to have a projector showing slides of old Christmas art out the front. It’s very cute. Awh man I miss Leominster… Or maybe I just miss being a kid 😂

I’ve got no interest in playing something made by people who have such little interest in what they’re doing that they get a chatbot to do it for them. If they don’t care, why would anybody else?
