I am using mailbox too and am very happy with them.
My main problem with the currently available apps is, that they all are quite laggy for me while scrolling. Jerboa, Thunder, Lift-off. Does anyone else have this problem?
You can long press on the Google keyboard, too. Maybe you have to enable it in the keyboard settings?

The Updates are very fast (usually in 2 or 3 days) and it has integrated adblock.
On Desktop i use Librewolf with uBlock on medium mode…

You have to tap the community name in the overview of posts or the thread itself. Then there is a subscribe button at the top.
Mullvad also has DNS with different kind of blockers: https://mullvad.net/en/help/dns-over-https-and-dns-over-tls/ And for the DNS blocking you don’t need an account.
